Job summary

Ramp is seeking a Senior Business Systems Engineer to own Ramp’s Quote-to-Cash ecosystem, building Salesforce CPQ, contract, and Billing/Core integrations that convert complex commercial agreements into accurate, scalable customer outcomes from quote creation to order, provisioning, billing, renewals, and amendments.

This role blends hands-on Salesforce engineering with systems design, partnering with Deal Desk, Legal, Finance, Billing Engineering, Product, and GTM to deliver reliable,

Qualifications

• 7+ years working with the Salesforce platform.
• 5+ years of experience with Systems Architecture and Integrations.
• Strong experience with Apex and triggers.
• Working knowledge of Python and Lightning Web Components.
• Strong API and integration experience with Salesforce.
• Knowledge of data pipelines and CI/CD practices.
• Understanding of CPQ, Billing, and Subscription domains.
• Excellent communication and collaboration with non-engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy applications on the Salesforce Platform.
• Design and operate reliable integrations between Salesforce CPQ, Ironclad, Billing/Core and adjacent systems.
• Develop and maintain iPaaS solutions (Homegrown, Workato, Clay).
• Shape architecture patterns and tool choices to scale speed and capacity.
• Produce detailed technical specs, diagrams, and data flows.
• Own data integrity and data assumptions in your area.
• Collaborate on code reviews, on-call duties, and issue triage.
