Job summary

Ramp is hiring a Senior Business Systems Engineer to own and evolve Ramp's Post Sales systems. You will build onboarding and activation funnels, translate complex deals into repeatable customer outcomes, and manage book of business from closure to expansion.

The role sits in Growth Engineering's Business Systems Engineering team and partners with Deal Desk, Legal, Finance, Data, Product, and GTM. Expect hands-on Salesforce engineering, system design, and strong commercial judgment.

Qualifications

• 7+ years working with the Salesforce platform.
• 5+ years in Systems Architecture and Integrations.
• Strong experience with Apex and triggers.
• Python and Lightning Web Components knowledge.
• APIs and integration experience with Salesforce.
• Data pipelines and CI/CD practices.
• Familiarity with GTM stack beyond Salesforce (Gong, Leandata, CPQ, Billing).
• Ability to translate complex requirements into durable system behavior.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy applications on the Salesforce Platform.
• Design and operate reliable integrations between Salesforce and internal systems.
• Design, develop, and maintain iPaaS solutions (Homegrown, Workato, Clay).
• Guide architecture decisions for scalable, high‑velocity revenue workflows.
• Write technical specs, data models, and process diagrams.
• Maintain data integrity and support data assumptions with the team.
• Collaborate on code reviews, on‑call duties, and issue resolution.
