Job summary

Ramp is hiring a Senior Business Systems Engineer to own Ramp’s Quote-to-Cash systems, building Salesforce CPQ, contract, and Billing/Core integrations for accurate customer outcomes from quote to renewals. This role sits in Growth Engineering’s Business Systems Engineering team and partners with Deal Desk, Legal, Finance, and GTM teams.

You will blend hands-on Salesforce development with system design and commercial judgment to make revenue workflows reliable and scalable for Ramp’s rapid

Qualifications

• 7+ years with Salesforce platform.
• 5+ years in systems architecture and integrations.
• Apex and triggers expert.
• Python experience helpful.
• LWC development and Salesforce APIs experience.
• Experience with CPQ, pricing, CLM, or billing.
• Strong communication with non-engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy on the Salesforce Platform.
• Build reliable integrations between Salesforce CPQ, Billing/Core and other systems.
• Develop and maintain iPaaS solutions (Homegrown, Workato, Clay).
• Shape architecture patterns for scalable revenue workflows.
• Create architecture diagrams, data models, and process flows.
• Ensure data integrity and collaborate with the team on code reviews.
• Participate in on-call duties and issue triage.
