Job summary

Ramp is seeking a Senior Business Systems Engineer to own and evolve Ramp’s Post Sales systems. You’ll build onboarding and activation workflows, translate complex deals into reliable customer outcomes from closure through expansion, and ensure book-of-business management.

You’ll partner with Deal Desk, Legal, Finance, Data, Product, and GTM teams, using Salesforce, data contracts, and integrations to deliver scalable revenue workflows.

Qualifications

• 7+ years working with the Salesforce platform.
• 5+ years of experience with Systems Architecture and Integrations.
• Strong experience with Apex and triggers.
• Working knowledge of Python.
• Strong knowledge of developing Lightning Web Components.
• Strong experience of APIs and integrations with Salesforce.
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD processes.
• Understanding Salesforce governance limits and code coverage.
• Follow unit‑testing best practices and code for positive/negative scenarios.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience using AI‑assisted development tools thoughtfully.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy applications on the Salesforce Platform.
• Design and operate reliable integrations between Salesforce and internal systems, owning data contracts and lifecycle changes for quotes, contracts, and subscriptions.
• Design, develop, and maintain solutions on iPaaS (Homegrown, Workato, Clay, etc).
• Drive decisions on architecture patterns and designs to scale for speed and volume.
• Write and communicate technical specifications including architecture and data model diagrams.
• Own data integrity and data assumptions in your area and contribute continually.
• Collaborate with the team on code reviews, on‑call duties, build issues, and ideation.
