Job summary

Ramp is seeking a Senior Application Engineer focused on Salesforce and integrations. The role collaborates with cross-functional teams to raise architectural maturity of business systems.

You will own data integrity, design scalable solutions, and contribute across Salesforce, Outreach, Workato, and Python-based integration patterns. You’ll work in the Growth Engineering function within the Business Systems Engineering team, driving architecture decisions and hands-on development with Apex, LWC

Qualifications

• 7+ years working with the Salesforce platform.
• 5+ years of experience in systems architecture and integrations.
• Experience with lead, contact, account, opportunity management, and campaigns.
• Strong experience with Apex, Visualforce, Aura, and Triggers.
• Proficiency in Python and Node.js in integrations.
• Expertise in APIs and Salesforce integrations.
• Knowledge of data pipelines, CI/CD, and code governance.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test and deploy applications on Salesforce Platform.
• Develop integrations within GTM systems and with Python-based apps.
• Maintain solutions on iPaaS (e.g., Homegrown, Workato, Clay).
• Shape architecture patterns and tooling for scalable solutions.
• Hands-on development with Apex, LWC, and Flows in SFDC.
• Create architecture diagrams, data models, and process flows.
• Uphold data integrity within your area and contribute across the stack.
• Collaborate on code reviews, on-call, build issues, and ideation.
