Job summary

Supermicro Computer, Inc. is seeking a Sr. Sales Manager to expand Supermicro's customer base in targeted areas. The role collaborates with Engineering, Finance, Logistics, and Programs to ensure a high-quality sales process and revenue growth.

The successful candidate will have 8+ years in server sales, strong communication, and a proven ability to meet deadlines and achieve quotas. Based in San Jose with competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in Business, Engineering or similar fields.
• 8+ years experience in a server sales environment.
• Strong communication skills across disciplines and cultures.
• Proven ability to meet deadlines and exceed goals.
• Excellent English written and verbal skills; second language is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Approach customers in Government, Data centers/Cloud, Gaming, HPC.
• Outbound cold calls to system integrators, VARs, OEMs.
• Qualify opportunities and create target lists.
• Develop relationships and communicate product/market information.
• Monitor inventory, negotiate prices, process orders, and manage credits/returns.
• Build supervisor customer relationships and consistently hit quota.
• Produce reports as necessary.
