Job summary

Supermicro Computer, Inc. is seeking a Senior Account Manager to expand the customer base in targeted areas and work from the company headquarters in San Jose, CA.

You will maintain the integrity of the sales process while collaborating with Engineering, Finance, Logistics, and Programs teams to drive revenue growth. The position requires a passion for sales, generating new leads, and surpassing goals in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• 5 years sales experience in tech desirable.
• Bachelor degree in business or engineering preferred.
• Deep knowledge of and selling server/storage or related software to cloud/enterprise/embedded markets.
• Experience engaging with C-level executives and large data centers.
• Strong time management and multitasking, with analytical market research.
• Proven leadership and ability to manage people.
• Excellent communication across disciplines, cultures, and geographies.

Responsibilities

• Develop strategic sales goals and execute to meet targets.
• Make outbound calls to prospects and manage leads and appointments.
• Qualify opportunities and create target lists for verticals.
• Build relationships and communicate product/market info professionally.
• Coordinate with OEM Sales Director on opportunities and communications.
• Monitor inventory, pricing, orders, and returns; assist with credit issues.
• Serve as backup for manager when needed.
