Job summary

Alpaca, a US-headquartered, global leader in broker-developer APIs, seeks a Sr. Sales Engineer for enterprise partners. You will bridge technical and business conversations, support API integrations, and collaborate with our global team to expand enterprise partnerships.

You will work with Sales, Solutions, and Product teams to design solutions, validate APIs, and drive successful onboarding and integrations across regions. Remote work is supported globally.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting enterprise / B2B customers in a technical, sales engineering, or solutions engineering role (5+ years).
• Strong understanding of REST APIs, SDKs, and integration workflows.
• Able to translate complex technical concepts into simple terms.
• Startup mindset with multi-tasking and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support and relationship management for existing enterprise customers.
• Partner with Sales on pre-sales technical discussions and API consultations; present product use cases.
• Guide new enterprise customers through API integration and onboarding.
• Translate business/technical requirements into clear specs for engineering.
• Serve as SME for Alpaca platform to diverse audiences and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with compliance and operations on local product requirements.
• Own end-to-end technical sales engagement: discovery, RFPs, security questionnaires, demos.
• Create sales support materials for new features and products.
• Coordinate with regulators, vendors, and partners; relay requirements to product/engineering.
• Assist customers in adopting Alpaca's platform; travel as needed.
• Stay updated on product timelines and test new features with partners.
