Job summary

Cohesity is seeking a driven Sr. Sales Engineer to support enterprise sales engagements and help customers adopt Cohesity’s data security and management platform.

You will partner with Account Executives to drive opportunities, deliver tailored technical solutions, and lead demos, proofs of concept, and workshops across on-prem, hybrid, and cloud environments.

This role emphasizes collaboration, strong communication, and translating technical details into business value, with travel as required.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in pre-sales Sales Engineering or Solutions Consulting in enterprise environments.
• Hands-on backup, recovery, data protection, storage, or cyber resilience technologies.
• Knowledge of data security concepts including ransomware resilience, immutable storage, encryption and access controls.
• Experience supporting proofs of concept and technical evaluations.
• Ability to translate technical architecture into business value.
• Experience partnering with Account Executives on complex deals.
• Willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Articulate Cohesity’s Data Cloud portfolio to business and technical audiences.
• Provide expert technical support throughout the sales cycle including demos and proofs of concept.
• Collaborate with the Account Executive on enterprise opportunities and deal strategy.
• Help customers integrate Cohesity into their production environments.
• Lead product demonstrations, workshops, and evaluations.
• Relay customer feedback to Product Management and Engineering.
• Provide post‑sale technical assistance when needed.
