Job summary

Cohesity is seeking a driven Senior Sales Engineer to support enterprise sales engagements and help customers adopt Cohesity’s data security and management platform. You will partner with Account Executives to drive opportunities and deliver tailored technical solutions.

This role emphasizes strong technical execution, collaboration across Product Management, Engineering, and Support, and the ability to communicate complex concepts to business and technical audiences. Willingness to travel.

Qualifications

Experience in pre-sales sales engineering or solutions consulting for enterprise environments.
Hands-on with backup, recovery, data protection, storage, or cyber resilience technologies.
Ability to translate technical architecture into customer value and business outcomes.
Strong communication and presentation skills to business and technical audiences.
Willingness to travel as required.

Responsibilities

Articulate Cohesity Data Cloud portfolio to customers and partners.
Provide expert technical support through discovery, design, demos, and PoCs.
Collaborate with Account Executives to drive deal progression and strategy.
Assist customers in integrating Cohesity products into production environments.
Lead technical engagements such as workshops, white papers, proposals, and evaluations.
Identify requirements and risks to shape proofs of concept.
Support competitive displacement through understanding customer environments.
Relay feedback to Product Management, Engineering, and Support.
Offer post-sales technical assistance to ensure success.
