Job summary

Rubrik’s Sales Engineering team is seeking a seasoned Sales Engineer to provide technical direction and business guidance to the regional sales team in the UKI region. You will evangelize, position, and architect Rubrik’s Cyber Resilience, Observability, and Remediation tools for new and existing customers.

You will lead technical sales calls, qualify opportunities, and collaborate with account teams to drive revenue while maintaining strong relationships with customers.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of sales engineering experience, preferably in a software or data center environment.
• Breadth of technical knowledge in cloud data management, backup and disaster recovery, and data analytics.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with strong work ethic and proactive attitude.
• Comfort working in a fast-paced environment with multiple calls/demos daily and immediate follow-up.
• Experience engaging with CxO level personnel to bring technology solutions to business challenges.

Responsibilities

• Provides technical leadership and direction to customers and internal staff in developing integrated technology solutions for pre-sales activities.
• Assists in analysis, design and development of fully integrated technology solutions.
• Demonstrates subject matter expertise on Rubrik’s products, architectures, and competitive storage offerings.
• Acts as technical expert to develop and propose solutions meeting customer tech and business requirements.
• Leads technical sales calls and presents to customer technical staff and senior management.
• Qualifies sales opportunities based on customer requirements, competition, decision-making, and funding.
