Job summary

Rubrik is seeking a Sales Engineer to drive technical leadership for our Enterprise sales team in Germany. You will own discovery, demos, and POC activities, while partnering with two Account Executives to achieve regional revenue goals.

You will evangelize Rubrik’s Data Resilience, Observability, and Remediation tools, work across on‑prem, cloud, and AI contexts, and travel within Germany to engage customers and run workshops.

Qualifications

• Strong sales engineering experience in software or data center environments.
• Confidence running live, hands-on product demonstrations.
• Autonomous, self-starting approach to manage your patch with AEs and specialists.
• Broad technical knowledge across cloud data management, backup and disaster recovery, and data analytics.
• Fluent German and business‑proficient English for German enterprise customers.
• Comfortable travelling within Germany for on-site meetings and workshops.
• High level of business acumen in engaging with C‑level customers and driving solutions.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership to customers and internal staff during pre‑sales activities across your patch.
• Own discovery, demos, and technical validation largely independently to keep opportunities moving.
• Demonstrate leadership and SME on Rubrik’s products across on-prem, cloud, SaaS, identity, and AI needs.
• Act as technical expert to develop and propose solutions meeting customer tech and business requirements.
• Deliver technical and sales presentations to customer staff and executives, in person or remotely, with travel within Germany.
