Job summary

Cohesity is seeking a driven Sr. Sales Engineer to support enterprise sales and help customers adopt Cohesity’s modern data security and management platform.

You will partner with Account Executives to drive opportunities, deliver tailored technical solutions, and support end‑to‑end engagement from discovery to implementation. This role emphasizes strong technical execution, collaboration, and ownership of account‑level strategy, with guidance from senior SEs and leadership.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in pre‑sales Sales Engineering or Solutions Consulting supporting infrastructure, data protection, security, or cloud platforms in enterprise environments.
• Hands‑on experience with backup, recovery, data protection, storage, or cyber resilience technologies across on‑prem, hybrid, and cloud.
• Working knowledge of data security concepts including ransomware resilience, immutable storage, encryption, and access controls.
• Experience supporting proofs of concept, evaluations, and technical decision processes.
• Ability to translate technical architecture into clear customer value and business outcomes.
• Experience partnering with Account Executives to support complex, multi‑stakeholder sales cycles.
• Demonstrated ability to leverage AI tools to enhance productivity and decision making.
• Willingness to travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Drive new customer and expansion opportunities by articulating Cohesity’s Data Cloud portfolio to business and technical audiences.
• Provide expert, tailored technical support throughout the sales cycle, including discovery, design, demos, and POCs.
• Collaborate with Account Executives on enterprise opportunity strategy and deal progression.
• Enable customers to integrate Cohesity products into existing production environments and respond to requests promptly.
• Lead technical engagements such as product demos, workshops, and proposals.
• Identify requirements and risks to shape proofs of concept that show Cohesity’s cyber resilience value.
• Support competitive displacement conversations with clear positioning.
• Coordinate with Product, Engineering, and Support for feedback and product improvements.
