Job summary

Cohesity is seeking a driven Sr. Sales Engineer to support enterprise sales and help customers adopt Cohesity’s modern data security and management platform.

You will partner with Account Executives to drive opportunities, deliver tailored technical solutions, and support end-to-end engagements across on-prem, edge, and cloud environments. This role emphasizes technical execution, collaboration, and ownership of account-level technical strategy, with guidance from senior SEs and leadership,

Qualifications

• Experience in pre-sales sales engineering or solutions consulting for infrastructure, data protection, security, or cloud platforms in enterprise environments.
• Hands-on experience with backup, recovery, data protection, storage, or cyber resilience technologies across on-prem, hybrid, and cloud.
• Fluent English communication and ability to convey complex concepts to diverse audiences.
• Familiarity with AI tools to enhance productivity and decision making.

Responsibilities

• Drive new customer opportunities and expansions by articulating Cohesity’s Data Cloud portfolio to business and technical audiences.
• Provide expert technical support across the sales cycle, including discovery, solution design, demos, and proofs of concept.
• Collaborate with Account Executives to support enterprise opportunities and deal progression.
• Enable customers to integrate Cohesity products into production environments and respond to technical requests promptly.
• Lead demonstrations, workshops, papers, proposals, and evaluations; shape proofs of concept demonstrating cyber resilience and data security value.
• Identify customer requirements and risk areas to inform technical strategy and competitive positioning.
• Partner with Product Management, Engineering, and Support to relay feedback and contribute to product improvements.
