Job summary

Cohesity is seeking a Senior Sales Engineer to support enterprise sales engagements and help customers adopt Cohesity’s modern data security and management platform. You will partner with Account Executives to drive opportunities and deliver tailored technical solutions across security, data protection, and cloud technologies.

You will engage with a wide range of stakeholders, lead demonstrations, and shape account-level technical strategy under guidance from senior SEs.

Qualifications

• Experience in pre-sales SE or solutions consulting in enterprise environments.
• Hands-on with backup, data protection, storage, or cyber resilience.
• Strong English communication in professional settings.
• Willingness to travel as required.
• Bachelor’s degree in CS/Engineering/Math or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Drive new enterprise opportunities by articulating Cohesity’s Data Cloud portfolio to business and technical audiences.
• Provide expert, tailored technical support throughout the sales cycle, including discovery, demos, and proofs of concept.
• Support technical strategy for enterprise opportunities in partnership with Account Executives, contributing to deal progression and win strategy.
• Enable customers to integrate Cohesity products into existing production environments, responding to technical requests promptly.
• Lead product demonstrations, workshops, proposals, and evaluations to advance opportunities.
• Identify customer requirements and risk areas to shape proofs of concept showing Cohesity’s value.
• Assist with competitive displacement conversations by understanding customer environments.
• Collaborate with Product Management, Engineering and Support to relay feedback and drive product improvements.
• Provide post‑sales technical assistance or project support to ensure success.
