Job summary

Cohesity is seeking a driven Senior Sales Engineer to support enterprise sales engagements and help customers adopt Cohesity's modern data security and management platform. You will partner with Account Executives to drive opportunities and deliver tailored technical solutions across security, data protection, and cloud technologies.

This role emphasizes technical execution, collaboration, and ownership of account‑level strategy, with guidance from senior SEs and leadership.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in pre‑sales Sales Engineering or Solutions Consulting in enterprise environments.
• Hands‑on experience with backup, recovery, data protection, storage, or cyber resilience technologies.
• Strong ability to translate technical architecture into customer value and business outcomes.
• Experience partnering with Account Executives on complex, multi‑stakeholder deals.
• Willingness to travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Drive new customer and expansion opportunities by articulating Cohesity's Data Cloud portfolio across business and technical audiences.
• Provide expert, tailored technical support throughout the sales cycle, including discovery, designs, demos, and proofs of concept.
• Support technical strategy for enterprise opportunities in partnership with the Account Executive and contribute to deal progression.
• Enable customers to integrate Cohesity products into existing production environments and respond to technical requests promptly.
• Lead and support technical engagements such as product demos, workshops, white papers, proposals, and evaluations.
• Identify customer requirements and risk areas, helping shape proofs of concept that highlight Cohesity's value.
• Assist with competitive displacement conversations by understanding customer environments and positioning Cohesity effectively.
• Collaborate with Product Management, Engineering, and Support to relay feedback and drive improvements.
• Provide post‑sales technical assistance to ensure successful outcomes and customer satisfaction.
