Job summary

Cohesity is seeking a passionate Sales Engineer to drive new customer opportunities by blending sales acumen with deep technical expertise. You will articulate Cohesity solutions to business and technical audiences, enable integration into production environments, and support large enterprise opportunities.

You’ll partner with product management, deliver demonstrations and workshops, and lead proofs of concepts while traveling to meet customers.

Qualifications

5+ years in a similar role.
Experience with clients and technology partners.
Experience selling and implementing Enterprise Hardware/Software, Cloud Platforms, IaaS, PaaS, or Virtual Infrastructure software.
Comfortable presenting technical and business material to varied audiences.
Outstanding written, verbal, and interpersonal communication.
Self-motivated and able to work remotely and autonomously.
Ability to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

Uncover and drive new customer opportunities by providing sales & technical assistance while articulating Cohesity technology to business and technical users.
Enable customers to integrate Cohesity products into their production environments and respond to information requests and proposals.
Develop expertise to lead the secondary storage technology strategy for our largest customers and partners.
Deliver product demonstrations, workshops, white papers, and proposals to communicate Cohesity’s vision.
Identify customer needs to implement proofs of concepts highlighting technology and value.
Collaborate with product management as a field representative regarding product development and customer requirements.
Provide project management and post-sales technical support when needed.
