Job summary

Amplitude, a leading AI analytics platform, seeks a Senior Sales Engineer to serve as the technical quarterback for strategic opportunities. You will translate product capabilities into business outcomes for Product, Marketing, and Analytics leaders, lead discovery, and architect proof‑of‑concepts that showcase value within the prospect's data and use cases.

You will collaborate with Account Executives, mentor junior SEs, and contribute to competitive intelligence and reusable demo assets.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in software pre-sales or related technical sales.
• Comfort discussing complex tech concepts with engineers and business stakeholders.
• Hands-on SQL: joins, aggregations, and window functions.
• Track record of closing technical evaluations in enterprise deals.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical evaluation phases for deals ranging from 100K to 1M+ ARR.
• Design and run proof-of-concept implementations to prove value on the prospect's data and use cases.
• Present to C-level executives and translate technical capabilities into ROI narratives.
• Mentor junior SEs and collaborate with product, success teams.
