Job summary

Amplitude is seeking a Senior Sales Engineer, Enterprise to act as the technical quarterback for our most strategic opportunities in the southwest region. You will partner with Account Executives to translate product capabilities into business outcomes valued by Product, Marketing, and Analytics leaders.

You will lead technical evaluations, design hands-on PoCs, and present ROI-focused narratives to C-level prospects.

Qualifications

5+ years in software pre-sales or similar

Responsibilities

Deal Execution: Lead technical evaluation phases for deals ranging from 100K to 1M+ ARR
Deal Execution: Conduct deep discovery to map prospect workflows and decision criteria
Deal Execution: Design and execute hands-on proof-of-concepts demonstrating value
Deal Execution: Handle technical objections related to data architecture, privacy/compliance, and integration complexity
Deal Execution: Present to C-level executives and translate technical capabilities into ROI narratives
Internal Collaboration: Partner with Product Management to communicate feature gaps and customer requirements
Internal Collaboration: Work with Customer Success to ensure smooth handoffs during implementation
Internal Collaboration: Mentor junior SEs on technical positioning and demo best practices
Thought Leadership: Contribute to competitive intelligence on tools like Google Analytics 4, Adobe Analytics, and Mixpanel
Thought Leadership: Develop reusable demo assets and proof-of-concept frameworks
