Job summary

Gigamon is seeking a Senior Sales Director for the Southeast Region to lead a high-performing sales team, drive growth, and achieve revenue targets across a dynamic territory. You will set the strategic direction, develop regional plans, expand enterprise accounts and build a channel ecosystem while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions. Must reside near Charlotte, NC, Atlanta, GA or within Washington, D.C., Maryland or Virginia.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in technology sales.
• 3+ years managing a quota-carrying sales team.
• Proven experience developing and executing sales strategies for large regions.
• Track record of selling complex security, networking, and cloud-based IT solutions to large enterprise customers.
• Experience building and managing a channel model with partners.
• Strong forecasting skills with a history of meeting commitments.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop a sales team to achieve and exceed regional revenue and performance targets.
• Develop and execute a regional business plan aligned with strategic objectives.
• Drive new business and expand existing enterprise accounts with strong client relationships.
• Build and manage a regional channel strategy, including recruiting and enabling partners.
• Forecast sales performance using Salesforce and report to leadership.
• Collaborate with Product Management, Sales Engineering, and cross-functional teams to deliver customer solutions.
• Represent Sales on cross-functional teams to support product development.
• Provide market and competitive intelligence to inform strategy.
