Job summary

Motorola Solutions, Silvus Technologies, seeks an experienced Senior Sales Director for OEM & Defense Primes to lead a high-performing sales team. The role focuses on design-win revenue across defense primes, UAS/UGV/USV markets, and system integrators, with travel as needed.

You will oversee the end-to-end B2B sales lifecycle—from technical evaluation and flight/bench tests to MSAs and large production orders. Up to 50% travel and potential remote work based on location are supported.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related technical discipline or business field.
• 10+ years of successful sales leadership in unmanned systems, tactical/public safety, C4ISR or defense tech.
• Leadership track record: 5+ years in senior sales management with multi-million-dollar quotas.
• Active U.S. Government SECRET clearance or ability to obtain within 15 months.
• U.S. Citizen due to clients under U.S. government contracts.
• Background check and drug test clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Own and deliver annual order and revenue targets and long-term production forecasts for the OEM and Defense Primes vertical.
• Lead onboarding, meetings, and ongoing training to the sales team; monitor performance.
• Drive pipeline velocity, CRM tracking, and accurate forecasting for all deals.
• Collaborate with Silvus engineering, product development, marketing, and BD teams to grow the business.
• Recruit and hire top-tier sales talent to maintain a high-performing team.
• Resolve complex customer issues and negotiate/close major deals.
• Translate company goals into actionable daily tasks for the sales reps.
• Travel up to 50% for site visits, field demos, exec briefings, and trade shows.
