Job summary

Rack Room Shoes is seeking a Sales Associate to deliver outstanding customer service and drive store goals. You will handle a variety of daily tasks, including point-of-sale operations, refunds and exchanges, processing S2H orders and customer pickups, while adhering to store policies and procedures.

The role emphasizes product knowledge, merchandising, and teamwork with management and district leaders to meet performance targets in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Interpersonal skills to deal with customers and colleagues.
• Basic verbal and non-verbal communication ability.
• Experience in retail sales preferred.
• Familiarity with store policies and procedures.
• Basic visual merchandising and store presentation knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Create an excellent shopping experience for customers and promote store initiatives.
• Stay aware of current promotions and sales events.
• Maintain clean, organized merchandise and stock presentation.
• Develop product knowledge and fitting skills.
• Assist in loss prevention and security awareness.
• Participate in inventories, shipping/receiving, and floor placements.
• Process sales and refunds according to policy, ensure correct mate checks.
