Job summary

Rack Room Shoes provides a customer-focused environment where sales associates drive excellent shopping experiences and meet store goals. You will perform sales, refunds, exchanges, S2H, and Customer Pickup tasks while maintaining store standards and promotions.

Ideal candidates have retail sales experience, basic math, and strong interpersonal skills, with a willingness to learn product knowledge and merchandising standards in a fast-paced retail setting.

Qualifications

• Interpersonal skills to deal effectively with customers and colleagues.
• Basic communication (verbal and non-verbal), organization, and math skills.
• Experience in retail sales, preferably footwear.
• Basic knowledge of company policies and procedures.
• Basic visual merchandising skills and understanding of Store Presentation Standards.

Responsibilities

• Create an excellent shopping experience through awareness and company service standards. Positive attitude and willingness to serve.
• Promote current sales promotions.
• Maintain merchandise presentation and store cleanliness and organization.
• Develop and maintain product knowledge and fitting skills.
• Maintain awareness of Loss Prevention concerns.
• Participate in inventories, assist in shipping/receiving merchandise, and merchandise placement.
• Process all sales and POS transactions according to policy and ensure shoes are matched.
• SR Sales Associates will have additional POS/Back Office responsibilities including refunds/exchanges, S2H and Customer Pickup.
