Job summary

Rack Room Shoes is seeking a Sales Associate to provide excellent customer service and help drive store goals in a fast-paced retail setting. You will be responsible for creating a positive shopping experience, promoting rewards programs, and maintaining clean, well-organized merchandise displays.

Key duties include processing sales and POS transactions, refunds/exchanges, and handling Customer Pickup orders when needed. Prior retail experience, especially footwear, is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail sales, preferably specialty retail or footwear.
• Basic knowledge of the policies and procedures.
• Basic visual merchandising skills and an understanding of the Store Presentation Standards.

Responsibilities

• Create an excellent shopping experience for customers through awareness and company service standards.
• Promote company rewards program and other business initiatives.
• Maintain merchandise presentation and store cleanliness and organization.
• Process all sales and POS transactions in accordance with policy and procedure.
• Refunds/exchanges, processing S2H and Customer Pickup as part of POS/Back Office duties.
