Job summary

Rack Room Shoes seeks an enthusiastic Retail Sales Associate to deliver outstanding service and meet store goals. You will process all sales and POS transactions, handle cash with accuracy, and present merchandise to customers in the best possible light.

You’ll lead by example, help with stock and merchandising, participate in inventories, and support store management and district leaders to achieve company standards.

Qualifications

• Interpersonal skills to interact effectively with customers and staff.
• Basic communication, organization, and math skills.
• Experience in retail sales, preferably specialty retail or footwear.
• Basic knowledge of store policies and procedures.
• Basic visual merchandising skills and understanding of store presentation standards.

Responsibilities

• Create an excellent shopping experience for customers and follow service standards.
• Maintain awareness of current promotions and merchandise presentation.
• Assist with stock, merchandising, and store cleanliness.
• Process all sales and POS transactions accurately and uphold cash controls.
• Support loss prevention and participate in inventories as needed.
