Engineering Systems Inc. (ESi) seeks a Safety Manager to lead the firm’s health and safety program across locations, ensuring practical, compliant safety practices and strong training.

The role coordinates with leadership, Site Safety Coordinators, and clients to meet regulatory and risk-management goals. Responsibilities include developing training paths, conducting inspections, and guiding root-cause analyses, with a focus on improving safety performance and safeguarding personnel across the

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree required in health and safety, safety eng., environmental health, or related field.
• Certificates/designations for area of expertise are desirable.

Responsabilidades

• Work with Senior Leadership to build a practical, sustainable safety training path for the firm.
• Provide safety leadership and direction while balancing compliance, risk, and client expectations.
• Serve as the main contact for safety questions and help teams meet client, regulatory, and firm requirements.
• Provide guidance and coaching to Site Safety Coordinators across the country.
• Review and develop safety practices and procedures to fit ESi’s work and business needs.
• Develop and implement safety orientation and ongoing training by role and risk.
• Conduct safety inspections and audits to confirm compliance and identify improvements.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local safety laws and ESi standards.
• Translate regulatory requirements into clear practices to support field work and client service.
• Ensure OSHA recordkeeping and reporting requirements are completed.
• Support the safety committee with technical and administrative tasks.
• Review incident reports and support root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Develop corrective action plans and monitor effectiveness of safety controls.
• Identify PPE resources and manage procurement across offices.
• Bring outside safety experience and best practices to strengthen the program.
• Build relationships with industry associations and external resources for benchmarking.
