Job summary

MEI Industrial Solutions seeks a Site Safety Manager to support field operations across MEI sites. You will lead safety programs, perform site inspections, and drive incident investigations to prevent injuries, damage, and losses while promoting a strong safety culture.

You will coordinate OSHA training (Site Specific, Protocol, Forklift, etc.), maintain records, prepare safety documentation, and work with the Region EH&S Manager and operations teams to continuously improve safety performance.

Qualifications

• Recognize safety hazards and enforce controls.
• Hold current First Aid, CPR, and AED certifications.
• Maintain OSHA 30-hour Construction Card with annual updates.
• Bachelor's degree in safety or 3+ years of construction safety management experience; certifications ASP/CHST/CSP.
• Minimum 5 years of Environmental Health & Safety experience in multi-site manufacturing or construction.
• Minimum 5 years working with OSHA standards.
• Minimum 5 years MS Office Suite experience.

Responsibilities

• Inspect sites and support incident investigations to root cause.
• Promote OSHA compliance and safety culture across MEI sites.
• Deliver safety training for staff and subcontractors.
• Maintain SIPPS, permits, SDS, and safety records.
• Coordinate with Region EH&S Manager and operations teams.
• Perform daily pre-task plan audits using hierarchy of controls.
• Prepare site safety documentation and audits.
