Engineering Systems, Inc. (ESi) seeks a Safety Manager to lead the firm’s health and safety program nationwide.

You will partner with leadership and project teams to enforce practical safety practices, drive training, audits, incident reviews, and corrective actions across multiple sites. You will oversee OSHA compliance, develop safety orientation, and coordinate with Site Safety Coordinators while advancing a proactive safety culture and regulatory alignment.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree required in Health and Safety, Safety Engineering, Environmental Health, or related field.
• Applicable Certificates and designations for area of expertise

Responsabilidades

• Build a practical, sustainable safety training path for the firm.
• Provide safety leadership and direction balancing compliance, risk, and client expectations.
• Serve as main point of contact for safety questions with leadership and project teams.
• Guide Site Safety Coordinators nationwide with training and coaching.
• Review and develop safety practices and procedures to fit firm needs.
• Develop safety orientation and ongoing training based on roles and risks.
• Conduct safety inspections and audits to confirm compliance and identify improvements.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and local safety laws and client requirements.
• Translate regulatory requirements into clear, practical field practices.
• Ensure OSHA recordkeeping and reporting is completed.
• Support safety committee with technical and administrative tasks.
• Review incident reports and support root-cause analysis with corrective actions.
• Develop corrective action plans and monitor effectiveness of safety controls.
• Identify PPE resources and establish a process for procurement and monitoring.
• Bring outside safety experience and industry best practices to strengthen program.
• Build relationships with associations, vendors, and external resources for benchmarking.
• Travel 30% - 50% and perform other duties as assigned.
