Job summary

Engineering Systems Inc. (ESi) is seeking a Safety Manager to lead our health and safety program across multiple sites, ensuring practical, compliant practices and continual improvement.

You will partner with senior leadership, coordinate training, conduct inspections, and align with OSHA standards while supporting project teams nationwide.

The role requires a bachelor’s in safety-related field, 7+ years of experience, and willingness to travel 30–50% with a competitive compensation package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Health and Safety, Safety Engineering, Environmental Health, or related field.
• 7+ years of progressive occupational health and safety experience, preferably with multi-site responsibility.
• Experience advising leaders and helping the business make practical safety decisions.
• Experience in professional services, engineering, consulting, industrial, construction, manufacturing, environmental, laboratory, forensic, or field-services environments preferred.
• Strong ability to balance regulatory compliance, client requirements, employee safety, and business needs.
• Knowledge of OSHA standards and safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Lead the firm's health and safety program across locations with practical, compliant practices.
• Provide safety leadership and direction balancing compliance, risk, and client expectations.
• Serve as primary contact for safety questions, guiding project teams through requirements.
• Develop and deliver safety training and coaching to Site Safety Coordinators nationwide.
