Job summary

Engineering Systems Inc. (ESi) seeks a Safety Manager to oversee the company’s health and safety program across locations.

You will lead compliance efforts, guide site safety coordinators, and translate regulations into practical practices for field teams. The role requires strong risk management, incident investigation, training delivery, and collaboration with leadership to maintain a safe, compliant work environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Health and Safety, Safety Engineering, Environmental Health, or related field.
• At least 7+ years of progressive occupational health and safety experience.
• Experience in multi-site safety programs and advising leaders.
• Ability to balance regulatory compliance, client requirements, employee safety, and business needs.

Responsibilities

• Lead the health and safety program across all locations.
• Provide safety leadership and direction while balancing compliance and risk.
• Serve as the main point of contact for safety questions for leadership and project teams.
• Provide guidance and coaching to Site Safety Coordinators nationwide.
• Review and develop safety practices and procedures for ESi’s work.
• Develop and deliver safety orientation and ongoing training.
• Conduct safety inspections and audits to ensure compliance.
• Ensure OSHA recordkeeping and reporting.
