Consigli Construction Co. is seeking a Safety Manager to develop, implement, and maintain the safety program across regional job sites. You will promote a proactive, behavior-based safety culture among field crews and supervise safety training.

Responsibilities include site visits, incident investigations, JSA reviews, and coordination with superintendents, carpenters, laborers, and masons to ensure OSHA compliance and continuous improvement across all operations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of construction safety experience
• Knowledge of OSHA 29 CFR 1926 Construction Standards
• OSHA 30-Hour Construction Certification required
• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Construction Management, or related field
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel regularly to job sites
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus

Responsabilités

• Maintain company-wide safety policies and develop job-specific safety plans.
• Conduct regular job site visits to ensure compliance with OSHA and company standards.
• Participate in JSA reviews and Jobsite Gym activities.
• Lead frequent safety trainings and meetings at corporate, regional, and self-perform levels.
• Participate in and lead corporate safety meetings.
• Lead self-perform preconstruction safety meetings.
• Serve as a trainer for programs including Fall Protection, NFPA Hot Work, First Aid/CPR, MEWP, and Forklift Certification.
• Perform hazard assessments and implement corrective actions to reduce risk.
• Investigate incidents and near misses; prepare detailed reports and lead root cause analyses.
• Ensure proper use, maintenance, and availability of PPE and fall protection systems.
• Monitor subcontractor safety compliance and coordinate site-wide safety initiatives.
• Collaborate with teams to complete pre-task documentation (Fall Protection Plans, Demolition Plans, Silica Exposure Control Plans).
• Maintain safety documentation such as OSHA logs, safety meeting records, and training certifications.
• Work with superintendents to plan safe means and methods for high-risk activities (scaffolding, formwork, heavy lifting, concrete operations).
• Stay current with local, state, and federal safety regulations and industry best practices.
