Job summary

DoorDash Labs is seeking a Senior Service Technician to join the Service Operations team in Mesa, AZ for the AM shift. You will perform advanced diagnostics and repairs to keep our robotic fleet running, working with minimal supervision on-site.

The role requires 2+ years of service experience, strong mechanical aptitude, and excellent documentation. Experience with robotics or autonomous vehicles is a plus, with a valid U.S. driver’s license and clean MVR.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of service work experience.
• Curiosity for all things mechanical and repair.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
• Experience with electric or autonomous vehicles, robotics, or aircraft is a plus.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license and a clean MVR.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose complex faults in robotic systems and supporting vehicles.
• Perform advanced repairs on intricate electrical systems and hardware with minimal supervision.
• Interpret manuals, schematics, and diagnostic flowcharts to guide troubleshooting.
• Document diagnostic processes, root cause hypotheses, and repair details in the service system.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to Level 2 Technicians.
• Work independently to manage and prioritize workload.
• Calibrate, configure, and maintain diagnostic tools and test equipment.
