Job summary

DoorDash Labs in Mesa, AZ is seeking a Service Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain robotic systems and electric bicycles. This on-site role operates on the PM shift (2:30 PM – 11:00 PM) with weekend coverage and requires 100% in-office presence during training and work.

You will learn advanced diagnostics alongside senior technicians and document all service actions in our management system. You will engage with electrical subsystems, batteries, and control units while following

Qualifications

• 1+ year of service work experience in a technical setting.
• Curiosity and an inclination for mechanical repair and vehicle systems.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
• Experience with service tools like JIRA and MaintainX is a plus.
• Valid US driver’s license and MVR clearance are required.

Responsibilities

• Perform standard and intermediate service tasks with growing independence on robotic systems and e-bikes.
• Repair common faults in robotic platforms, drivetrains, and support vehicles using established procedures.
• Assist with complex faults with senior technicians to learn advanced diagnostics.
• Complete repairs on electrical systems, control units, and battery packs per guidance.
• Document diagnostic steps, actions, and component failures in the service system.
• Follow preventive maintenance schedules to reduce downtime and extend fleet life.
