Job summary

DoorDash Labs is seeking a hands-on Service Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain robotic systems and electric bicycles, ensuring fleet readiness. This on-site role requires collaboration with senior technicians and ongoing skill development in a fast-paced, expansion-focused environment.

You will perform standard to intermediate repairs, follow preventive maintenance, and document procedures in the service system. A valid U.S.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of service work experience.
• Curiosity and an inclination for all things mechanical and repair.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
• Prior experience in vehicle, bicycle, or fleet service, robotics, or aircraft is a major plus.
• Experience with service tools and systems like JIRA and MaintainX is a plus.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license and MVR check required.

Responsibilities

• Perform standard and intermediate Service Technician tasks with growing independence, including service and upkeep of robotic systems and electric bicycles.
• Repair common faults in robotic platforms, modular components, e-bike drivetrains, and support vehicles using established procedures.
• Assist with complex faults alongside senior technicians to learn advanced diagnostic methods.
• Complete repairs on electrical systems, control units, battery packs, and hardware under guidance.
• Use manuals, schematics, and diagnostic flowcharts to guide work.
• Document all diagnostic steps and repair actions in the service management system to keep records.
