Job summary

DoorDash Labs is seeking a Senior Service Technician to join the Service Operations team on-site in Sunnyvale, CA. You will diagnose complex faults in robotic systems and perform advanced repairs with minimal supervision, while documenting findings and mentoring Level 2 technicians.

You will report to the Operations Manager, Service Operations, and work a 7 days a week, 16 hours schedule during training, with permanent AM or PM shifts after training, based on business needs.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of service work experience.
• Curiosity and an inclination for all things mechanical and repair.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
• Prior experience in vehicle or fleet service, robotics, or aircraft is a major plus.
• Experience with JIRA, MaintainX, and other service tools is a major plus.
• Valid U.S. driver's license required and MVR clearance.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose complex, intermittent, or unusual faults in robotic systems and support vehicles.
• Perform advanced repairs on intricate electrical systems and control units.
• Interpret manuals, schematics, and diagnostic flowcharts to guide troubleshooting.
• Document diagnostic processes, hypotheses, and repair details in the service system.
