Job summary

Affirm is a remote-first fintech company redefining credit through transparent data and fair pricing. As a Senior Analyst (L5) you will own the full analytical lifecycle—from questions to business decisions—working across product, risk, and growth in a highly collaborative environment.

You will partner with Engineering and ML teams, translate complex regulatory and economic insights into actionable strategies, and mentor junior analysts while shaping risk and profitability across domains.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of analytically-driven experience in consumer lending, fintech, or related fields.
• Degree in data science, CS, engineering, economics, or quantitative field.
• Advanced proficiency in SQL, Python, or similar scripting languages.
• Strong data mining, visualization, and statistical modeling skills.
• Experience leading cross-functional initiatives with Product, Legal, Compliance, and Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Derive actionable insights from data to shape business, risk, or growth strategies.
• Monitor portfolio performance and macro trends to balance risk and growth.
• Partner with Engineering and ML teams to build scalable risk and fraud models.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate regulatory and market requirements into analytics.
• Lead analytical frameworks and support product launches and market entries.
