Job summary

Humana Inc. is seeking a Senior Coding Educator to lead risk adjustment education for providers and align documentation with coding guidelines. You will report to the Manager, Coding Education and design education plans tailored to each provider group.

You will analyze data to drive improvements in quality of care, documentation, and coding, collaborate with relationship owners and QCS, and develop webinars and presentations to support group strategy. Remote with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• CPC certification required.
• 3+ years risk adjustment provider education.
• 3+ years medical record review knowledge.
• Medicare Risk Adjustment knowledge.
• Familiar with coding guidelines (ICD-9/ICD-10).
• Experience analyzing data to guide process improvements.
• Excel formulas and pivot tables experience.
• Proficient at PowerPoint with leadership presentation experience.

Responsibilities

• Create and execute risk adjustment strategy for each provider group.
• Analyze data and provide educational sessions with providers aimed at quality of care, documentation and coding improvements.
• Collaborate with relationship owners and QCS (Quality and Cost Strategy).
• Monitor and develop strategy in collaboration with Network Performance team and the leader.
• Tailor provider group webinars and discussions based on various MRA topics.
• Create compliant PowerPoint Presentations tailored to group strategy.
