Job summary

Humana Inc. is seeking a Senior Coding Educator to identify opportunities to improve provider documentation and create tailored education plans. You will report to the Manager, Coding Education and lead risk adjustment initiatives across provider groups.

You will analyze data, deliver educational sessions, develop compliant PowerPoint presentations, and collaborate with Network Performance and QCS to drive quality and coding improvements. Travel occasional.

Qualifications

• CPC certification required and demonstrated risk adjustment education experience.
• 3+ years in risk adjustment provider education.
• 3+ years of medical record review knowledge.
• Familiar with ICD-9/ICD-10 coding guidelines.
• Strong data analysis and Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Create and execute risk adjustment education plans for providers.
• Analyze data and deliver education sessions to improve documentation and coding.
• Develop compliant PowerPoint presentations tailored to groups.
• Collaborate with relationship owners and QCS for strategy.
