Job summary

Humana, Inc. is seeking a Senior Coding Educator to lead risk adjustment education for provider groups. You will analyze data, design education plans, and deliver sessions to improve documentation, coding accuracy, and quality of care.

The role reports to the Manager, Coding Education and is remote with occasional travel to Humana offices. You will develop webinars, create PowerPoint presentations, and collaborate with Network Performance and QCS to shape strategy.

Qualifications

• AAPC CPC certification and experience in risk adjustment education.
• 3+ years of risk adjustment provider education and medical record review knowledge.
• Familiarity with coding guidelines (ICD-9/ICD-10) and Medicare Risk Adjustment.
• Experience analyzing data to guide process improvements and presenting to leadership.
• Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint for education delivery.

Responsibilities

• Create and execute risk adjustment strategy for provider groups.
• Analyze data and provide educational sessions to improve documentation and coding.
• Collaborate with relationship owners and QCS (Quality and Cost Strategy).
• Monitor and develop strategy with Network Performance and the leader.
• Tailor provider group webinars and discussions on MRA topics.
• Create compliant PowerPoint presentations tailored to group strategy.
