Job summary

Humana is seeking a Senior Coding Educator to lead risk adjustment education for providers across the network. You will design education plans, analyze documentation quality, and deliver sessions aimed at improving coding accuracy and compliant documentation.

Reporting to the Manager, Coding Education, you will develop webinars, PowerPoint presentations, and data-driven trainings, collaborating with Quality and Cost Strategy and Network Performance teams.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of risk adjustment provider education.
• 3+ years of medical record review knowledge.
• Familiar with ICD-9/ICD-10 coding guidelines.
• Experience analyzing data to guide process improvements.
• Excel skills with formulas and pivot tables.
• A APC CPC Certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Create and execute the risk adjustment strategy for each provider group.
• Analyze data and provides educational sessions with providers aimed at quality of care, documentation and coding improvements.
• Collaborate with relationship owners and QCS (Quality and Cost Strategy).
• Monitor and develops strategy in collaboration with Network Performance team and the leader.
• Tailor provider group webinars and discussions based on various MRA topics.
• Create compliant PowerPoint Presentations tailored to group strategy.
