Job summary

Axon is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to own the design, development, and validation of complex electrical systems for mission-critical, connected hardware. As a founding member of our hardware team, you will establish architecture and engineering standards across board design, RF coexistence, mechanical integration, and test.

You will drive bring-up, debugging, and production readiness, leading across schematics, layout, and test equipment.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of embedded electronics design experience with high-density, battery-powered or low-power systems.
• Experience with PCB design and layout, RF integration and coexistence, mechanical integration, and hardware bring-up/debugging for highly integrated devices.
• Experience meeting US and international hardware, wireless, and safety standards and collaborating with design partners across distributed teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop mixed-signal schematics and drive PCB layout for application processors, RF transceivers, and high-speed interfaces.
• Design and validate RF and radio systems across multiple wireless technologies with EMI/EMC considerations.
• Collaborate with Mechanical/Industrial Design for board layout, antenna integration, and tight form-factor constraints.
