Job summary

CesiumAstro is seeking a Senior RF Test Engineer to design and implement advanced RF test plans for satellite and aerospace communication systems. You will work with multi-disciplinary teams to develop reusable architectures, automate testing, and guide equipment purchases, ensuring robust test coverage and data-driven decisions.

The role emphasizes hands-on lab work, instrument proficiency, and strong written/verbal communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science (BS) or higher in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering from an accredited university.
• Minimum of 5 years experience with a bachelor’s degree or 4 years with a master’s degree in RF test systems.
• High proficiency with RF measurements (Linearity, NSD, EVM, etc.).
• Test architecture design and development including scripting, test executives, hardware, and measurement abstraction layers.

Responsibilities

• Design, analyze, and implement RF test plans and procedures.
• Collaborate with design and test teams to map requirements to reusable test architectures.
• Log and present results to stakeholders; guide equipment purchases and lab management.
