Job summary

CesiumAstro is seeking a Senior RF Test Engineer to design, analyze, and implement RF test plans for satellite and aerospace systems. You will work with multi-disciplinary teams to address hardware test needs and drive reusable test architectures, procedures, and automation.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in RF test design, hands-on lab experience with the listed instruments, and strong communication skills to present results to engineers and executives.

Qualifications

• BS or higher in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering from an accredited university.
• Minimum 5 years with a BS or 4 years with an MS; RF test design, analysis, and implementation experience.
• High proficiency with RF measurements (Linearity, NSD, EVM).
• Test architecture design and development including scripting, test executives, hardware, and measurement abstraction layers.
• Hands-on experience with lab instruments such as oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, RF signal generators, and vector signal analyzers.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with design and test teams to develop RF test requirements.
• Map requirements to reusable test architectures and procedures.
• Implement test plans, log results, and present findings to stakeholders.
• Lab equipment management and guiding key equipment purchase decisions.
