Job summary

CesiumAstro is seeking a Senior RF Test Engineer to design, analyze, and implement RF test plans for satellite and aerospace systems. You will work with cross-functional teams to map requirements to test architectures and procedures, and to present results to stakeholders in a fast-paced, startup-like environment.

The role emphasizes RF measurements, test automation, and lab management, with preferred experience in phased array testing and scripting (Python, MATLAB, C/C++).

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering or higher from an accredited university.
• 5+ years of RF test system design/implementation experience with a bachelor’s degree (4 years with a master).
• High proficiency with RF measurements (Linearity, NSD, EVM, etc.).
• Experience designing test architectures including scripting and hardware abstraction layers.
• Proficiency in statistics/metrology related to RF test design.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with design and test teams to develop test requirements and reusable architectures.
• Implement test plans and procedures and log results for stakeholders.
• Manage lab equipment and guide equipment purchase decisions.
• Present design review materials to customers and executive team.
• Contribute to proposal-writing efforts and maintain clear communication.
