Job summary

CesiumAstro in Colorado is seeking a Senior RF Test Engineer to design, analyze, and implement RF test plans for satellite and aerospace systems. You will architect test architectures, map requirements to reusable procedures, and present results to stakeholders.

The role requires hands-on experience with RF measurements, lab instruments, and automation, plus collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams and experience with phased array testing is preferred.

Qualifications

• BS or higher in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years with BS or 4 years with MS in RF test system design, analysis, and implementation.
• Strong proficiency with RF measurements (Linearity, NSD, EVM).
• Experience in test architecture design, development including scripting, test executives, hardware, and measurement abstraction layers.
• Proficiency in statistics and metrology as related to RF test design.
• Hands-on experience with lab instruments (digital oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, RF signal generators, vector signal analyzers).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with design and test teams to develop test requirements and architectures.
• Implement test plans and procedures and log/present results to stakeholders.
• Manage labs and equipment and guide equipment purchase decisions.
• Present engineering design review materials to customers and executives.
