Job summary

CesiumAstro in the United States seeks a Senior RF Test Engineer to design, analyze, and implement RF test plans for satellite and aerospace systems. You will work with multi-disciplinary teams to build reusable test architectures and automate measurements using VSAs, VNAs, and other lab equipment.

The role emphasizes hands-on lab work, test architecture, and design-for-test input early in product development; excellent communication to present results to stakeholders and to guide equipment

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering from an accredited university.
• 5+ years of RF test design/analysis experience; strong RF measurements required.
• Experience with RF test architecture, scripting, and metrology.
• Hands-on with lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, RF generators, VNAs/VSAs.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, analyze, and implement RF test plans and procedures.
• Map requirements to reusable test architectures and procedures.
• Log and present results to stakeholders; guide equipment purchases.
• Collaborate with design/test teams to meet project needs.
• Laboratory and equipment management; input on test requirements early in development.
