Job summary

CesiumAstro is seeking a Senior RF Test Engineer to design, analyze, and implement RF test plans for satellite, spacecraft, and aerospace systems. You will work with cross-functional teams to map requirements to reusable test architectures, automate tests, and present results to stakeholders.

The role emphasizes hands-on lab work with RF instrumentation and strong design-for-test involvement. The position requires a BS in Electrical or Computer Engineering with 5+ years of RF test experience,

Qualifications

• BS or higher in Electrical/Computer Engineering from an accredited university.
• 5+ years with a bachelor's degree or 4+ years with a master's in RF test design/analysis.
• High proficiency with RF measurements (Linearity, NSD, EVM).
• Experience in test architecture design including scripting and measurement abstraction layers.
• Proficiency in statistics and metrology related to RF test design.
• Hands-on with lab instruments (oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, RF generators, VSAs).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with design and test teams to develop RF test requirements.
• Map requirements to reusable test architectures and procedures.
• Implement test plans, run tests, and log results for stakeholders.
• Oversee lab and equipment management and guide purchasing decisions.
• Present engineering design reviews to customers and executives.
