Job summary

CesiumAstro is seeking a Senior RF Test Engineer to design, analyze, and implement RF test plans for space-grade systems. You will work with multi-disciplinary teams to address hardware test needs and help architect test systems for phased array tests.

Qualifications

• BS or higher in Electrical or Computer Engineering from an accredited university.
• Minimum 5 years with a bachelor’s degree or 4 years with a master’s degree in RF test design/analysis.
• Strong RF measurement skills including Linearity, NSD, EVM.
• Experience designing/test architectures with scripting and hardware interfaces.
• Solid statistics/metrology knowledge related to RF test design.
• Hands-on with lab instruments (DSO, spectrum analyzers, RF generators, VSA).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with design/test teams to develop RF test requirements and architectures.
• Map requirements to reusable test architectures and procedures.
• Implement test plans and procedures and log/present results to stakeholders.
• Manage lab equipment and guide key equipment purchase decisions.
• Present engineering design reviews to customers and executives; support proposals.
