Job summary

RTX is seeking a Senior RF Sensor Responsible Engineering Authority (REA) for advanced missile programs, onsite in Tucson, AZ. You will drive RF subsystem design, modeling, analysis, and integration, collaborating with suppliers and program leadership.

The role requires a STEM degree with 5+ years in RF hardware, experience with antennas, CCAs, or RF seekers, and the ability to mentor engineers while managing risk and documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM with 5+ years experience, or advanced degree with 3+ years.
• Experience with electrical hardware development (RF components preferred).
• Experience with working with suppliers or subcontractors on complex hardware.
• Ability to interpret engineering requirements and verify hardware compliance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee supplier development of RF sensors and measurement equipment.
• Liaise between supplier and program for technical, cost, and schedule alignment.
• Coordinate stakeholder reviews of technical data and hardware acceptance.
• Identify risks and mitigations for RF sensor development.
• Support lab testing, field tests, and root-cause failure analysis.
