RTX in Tucson, AZ, is seeking a Senior RF Sensor Responsible Engineering Authority (REA) to drive RF subsystem design and radar-related development for next-generation missile systems. You will own subsystem requirements, model and analyze designs, and support integration and test in an advanced RF environment.

The role is onsite in Tucson with DoD Secret clearance requirements. You will mentor junior engineers, collaborate with suppliers and program teams, and help shape technical decisions

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM with 5+ years of RF-related experience.
• Experience with electrical hardware development (antennas/CCAs).
• Proven ability to work with suppliers on complex hardware.
• Ability to interpret requirements and verify hardware compliance.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee supplier development of RF sensors and measurement equipment.
• Coordinate reviews of data, design changes, and hardware acceptance.
• Identify risks and mitigations for RF sensor development.
• Support lab and field tests, root-cause analysis.
• Maintain requirements documents and hardware matrices.
• Travel to supplier meetings every 1–2 months.
